Thanks, Becky.

One of the many gifts of having beeen on the road for so long is all the wondrous places I have had the privilege of visiting...and capturing, either on film, through my art or both. (Pretty much all the photos on my blog and web site are mine.)

Blessings
Mark David

I love the photos...the Rio Grande is one of those mythological places that are wonderfully muddy and at certain times of year shallow. I waded across it last year when I was out in Albuquerque at the Harwood Art Center for my talk "Show Me the Way to Go Home" interweaving songs, commentary, and poetry from my book "Sightlines: A Poet's Diary." I just hitched up my skirt one morning a waded across from forest to forest and loved every sandy drop of it.
